New Civics Test Announced by USCIS

The United States Citizenship and Immigration agency changed the Civics section of the Citizenship test on December 1, 2020 as part of a decennial update. If you file for naturalization after that date, you must study from the new version.
The new test requires more critical thought with a 128-question test including revamped American government and American history section. Beyond that, applicants must get 12 correct out of a 20-question test instead of the former six out of 10.
