Christian designer Kristin Frazer, founder of Virgin Islands-based swimsuit company Trèfle Designs, is responsible for pop star Beyonce’s flattering contour in a most recent photo on the singer’s My Life section of Beyonce.com.
Posted yesterday, Beyonce is seen wearing a white, high waist bikini bottom with matching lingerie-like bra top.
Frazer, 30, was taught to sew as a child by her grandmother on the tiny island of Tortola in the British Virgin Islands but she soon realized that nurturing her talent meant venturing to the United States and attending the International Academy of Design and Technology (now Sanford Brown) in Tampa, Florida.
Upon completing her studies, she moved back home to Tortola, British Virgin Islands to launch her company in 2008.
International media are currently in a feeding frenzy over Beyonce’s photos in the Trèfle bikini, claiming it shows her true figure.
As the Carter family, including Jay Z and Blue Ivy, relaxed on the beaches of France to celebrate Beyonce's 33rd birthday earlier in September, photographers captured both mother and daughter wearing Trèfle designs. Blue Ivy wore a custom made mint and fuchsia Trèfle284 kids collection bikini top and skirt bottom with hand-sewn pearls.
According to commentary by ETonline, “Beyonce's looking good in this white bikini but slightly different from her last self-posted swimsuit shots.”
They claim in other recent pics, it was thought that she may have photoshopped her legs “to give herself a thigh gap.”
After seeing the post just yesterday on Beyonce’s website, Frazer wrote on her Facebook page: “What a great way to end the day! Singer and worldwide superstar @beyonce rocked Trefle in a great way! She looks amazing in our high waist bottom and bra top with pearl embellishment! We are so thrilled that she loves our designs from the @britishvirgins.”
Frazer's publicist Tiffany Cadogan said, "[Kristin Frazer] hand stitched the bikini after receiving a call from someone on Beyonce's team and shipped it out within an hour."
Frazer was only just featured on BlackNaturalHairstyles.org two weeks ago, citing that “God won’t give you more than you can bear” and claiming “to live by that scripture as it drives her to keep pushing, keep encouraging others, keep fighting, keep believing, and to pull others with you along the way.”
Although a multi-entrepreneur - also the co-owner of an accessories line and skin care company - she is heavily invested in her Virgin Islands church as a youth leader, choir director, usher, etc.
