Zumbathon Aids Kidney Foundation
September 5, 2013By Tiffani Knowles

A Zumbathon fundraiser is slated for next Saturday to support the Kidney Foundation of Central Pennsylvania in memory of a woman who lost her battle to kidney disease three years ago.

On September 14 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Lounge of Comfort Inn, 116 Turtlewalk Lane in Bartonsville, Pa., information will be presented by Kidney Foundation of Central Pa. along with a Zumba workout, lunch and refreshments, live entertainment, vendor booths and free gifts and raffle drawings.

The event is in honor of Brenda Moore, a woman who endured AIDS, heart attack, stroke, lung cancer and chronic kidney disease.

After years of dialysis treatment and fighting for her life, Brenda died on September 11, 2012.

At the fundraiser event, a preview of a documentary on the life of Brenda R. Moore will be screened.
