Global Christian Event Expo and Awards
February 16, 2012

Global Christian Event Network is presenting its Ministry Expo + Awards Gala on March 17 on the campus of CUNY's Brooklyn College in Brooklyn, NY.

This is a one day expo and conference followed by an awards gala that will highlight trailblazing organizations in the Christian community of New York and its surrounding areas. Created as a networking forum and designed to empower, showcase and award different ministries who are making a difference within the body of Christ, the GCEN Ministry Expo will begin at 12:00 p.m. with an exhibition of Christian ministries, non-profit organizations and relevant businesses which service the Christian community. Running concurrently, classes, seminars and panels will cover areas such as social media tools in ministry, starting a ministry/business, ministry branding, church marketing and youth and purpose discovery.

The awards ceremony will follow at 5:00 pm in the Penthouse of the Brooklyn College Student Center. This black-tie ceremony will feature a lively mix of entertainment, celebrity presenters and comedic talent to celebrate Christian ministries' best of the best. Limited time free and discounted tickets are available through February 28th. After this, entry will be $10 for the expo, and increase from $50 to $70 for the awards reception.

The eight categories included in the awards are Pastor of the Year, Church Choir of the Year, Gospel Artist of the Year, Christian Media, Changing Lives, Ministry of the Year, Youth Group and Young Entrepreneur. Winners will be decided by a panel of judges and public voting. To vote for your favorite finalist in any of the eight nomination categories, please visit www.gcenexpoawards.com/awards/nominate-2.
