NEWD is seeking to fill a position for young, spunky new sales associates.

NEWD Magazine (a generation Y publication that provides news, education, music, fashion, events, and arts) and MW (a marketing and video production firm) and are joining forces. Although both companies have been in business for years, we still operate as a fun, energetic start-up. We welcome creative ideas that are related to our mission. We don't have employees; we have team members (and we listen to each team member's opinion).

As part of our team you will be responsible to raise money for us via donations, obtaining sponsorship, or selling our products/services to other businesses or individuals. You will also be featured in our marketing/promotion campaigns which include fashion shows, video commercials, music events, newspaper/radio/tv ads, etc: (here's a sample of the quality of our production work: https://plus.google.com/108734617253734371407/posts/R312UQn4Euy).

Requirements (you must have all of these):

-Outgoing and love to meet new people of various backgrounds and industries.
-You must love the arts (dance, music, fashion, film, etc) and the camera
- Great ability to professionally speak to people in person and over the phone
-Have Ultimate Persistence (you don't accept "No" for an answer)
-Take initiative
- Can Sell themselves in any environment (If you can sell yourself, then you can sell our services/products)
-Can work at least 25 hours per week.
- Follow Directions

Benefits (You will receive):
-20% commission on all net dollars you generate for the company.

-After being with us for 90 days and exhibiting proof of exceeding sale quotas: you can set your own schedule, you will receive free meals on us once per week.
-Free tickets to events covered by NEWD & MW (plays, movie premieres, fashion events, concerts, festivals)
