An Australian man has been charged after he allegedly stole and
concealed jewelry inside himself.
Police said the incident happened last week at Burswood Casino
in Perth, Australia, after a glass panel in the display case was found smashed
in the early hours of the morning.
A suspect was later located, but police failed to find any
stolen items until some dislodged from inside him.
Inspector Gary Lewis told APP that the man was conveyed to Royal
Perth Hospital for x-rays and further property was recovered.
A necklace and six rings were recovered, totaling about
$329,000.
The 29 year-old man is in custody and awaiting a court date.
