Love to Hate: Lil Wayne's Semi-Marijuana Endorsement
October 11, 2009
Lil Wayne has endorsed a new company called Bogey Blunts that specializes in selling flavored cigars.
The blunts come in three different varieties: original, vanilla, and grape.
As advertised on their website, Bogey Blunts boast special leaves that can be easily unrolled for users to add their own "tobacco" - which in most cases is marijuana.
With product currently available in Atlanta, Miami, Tampa, and all of North Carolina, South Carolina and Arizona, Bogey Blunts has branded itself as the very first flavored cigar company completely created and influenced by hip-hop culture. Thus, with Lil Wayne plastered on their product packaging, Bogey Blunts receives instant street cred as paying "tribute to hip-hop tobacconists."
Wayne is not the first rapper to have his own line of blunts. There is currently a line featuring Notorious B.I.G. and over the years, several other rappers, including Jadakiss, have made attempts to enter the lucrative market.
