Honor Student Fatally Beaten

Chicago honor student Derrion Albert, 16, was fatally beaten outside of a community center on September 24. The act was captured by a witness' camera phone.
On his way from school, Derrion headed for his bus stop as two rival groups of students fought in the street. Four teens were charged with first degree murder andare being held without bail, said Tandra Simonton, spokeswoman for Cook County state's attorney said.
