At a conference in Miami presented by the Haitian Diaspora Unity Congress, Former President Bill Clinton said yesterday that he sees now as a 'unique' time to help Haiti.

Since being appointed United Nations Special Envoy to Haiti in May, Clinton has plans - along with much of the Haitian Diaspora - to assist with Haitian relief.

"It is my opinion that this is by far the best chance that Haiti has had in the 35 years that I have been acquainted with it to slip the bonds of the past," said Clinton.
